Selected candidates will have the opportunity to strengthen their systems engineering skills by applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and methods by developing a system architectural model using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) encompassing requirement development, architecture modeling and analysis techniques. The model will be used for requirements allocation, analysis, and verification. Candidates will work with MBSE tools such as Cameo EA/MagicDraw, MATLAB, Mathematic, and Teamcenter.


Required Qualifications:

+ Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering

+ Strong, hierarchical problem-solving skills

+ Experience developing in C , MATLAB/Simulink, Mathematica, or similar modeling languages/tools

+ Effective written and oral technical communication skills

+ Self-starter who works effectively in a collaborative team environment

+ Eligible for U.S. security clearance (U.S. Citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Knowledge of systems engineering practices and processes

+ Experience developing engineering models using SysML or UML

+ Strong mathematics skills

* Students need to be currently enrolled and will be enrolled the following semester in a full-time in an accredited degree-seeking university program.
